Join Cliff at sea!

Come enjoy an afternoon of sailing and singing to raise funds for the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival aboard the beautiful Gloucester schooner Ardelle! Tickets: scan the code or click here: https://bit.ly/PMFFSAIL

Two hours at sea… Come sail with us on the Ardelle, a modern replica of a classic pinky schooner, built by the ship’s master, Harold Burnham. Some of you will have seen the Ardelle from the decks of the Adventure on one of our previous sailing excursions, or sailed on the Ardelle with Michael O’Leary’s Celtic Music Sunset Sails. She is a real joy to be aboard; learn more about the Ardelle here: https://maritimeheritagecharters.com/about-us/our-vessels/

We will enjoy a concert from the inimitable Cliff Haslam. Cliff has hosted the weekly Monday night chantey sing at the Griswold Inn in Essex, Conn., for decades, and has performed at previous PMFF events and other festivals around the world. His resonant baritone and northern English accent invite enthusiastic singing along. The performance will be followed by an open chantey sing, so bring your best voice! There also may be a chance to put chanteys to work on board, weather permitting!

Also bring some food, if you like, and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice. For licensing reasons, beer and wine is only available for sale by the Ardelle crew.

We sail promptly at 1, so be there early!

A few other notes:

1. We require the full name of all passengers to comply with Coast Guard regulations.

2. If the sail is canceled due to weather, we will notify you as best we can and offer refunds.

3. If you want to make an extra donation beyond the ticket, we would be grateful. Donations beyond the ticket are tax-deductible as otherwise legally allowed.

4. Zeffy is a non-profit organization which provides completely free payment processing services to other non-profits like PMFF. When you check you, you may be asked for a tip; this money goes to support Zeffy in their work.
